When Mr. Jackson, of Northwich, Cheshire, decided it was time to help his parents maintain their independence and mobility, he was presented with a major problem.
Mr. Jackson's elderly parents, live in an an old, three storey property, in Conwy, North Wales. The house has a narrow, winding staircase and the question is, "was it even possible to design and install a suitable stairlift in such a house?"
At first glance, and to the untrained eye, a three story, curved stairlift would seem to be near impossible; the engineering alone would be extremely complex and probably prohibitively expensive.
Eventually, Mr. Jackson contacted Castle Comfort Stairlifts, who were only too happy to provide a free home survey, to evaluate this seemingly impossible request.
Following the home survey, it took just a couple of emails to clarify some technical details and the design was complete
Not only was the impossible possible but Castle Comfort Stairlifts were quickly able to design and install a curved, three story stairlift, for Mr. Jackson's parents.
